Since joining Steelhead in 2022 as Director of Product Testing, Mr. Fabian has led all testing activities, enhancing the company’s capabilities in proof, burst, and cycle testing while expanding them to include helium leak testing, thermal cycle testing, and pressure vs. strain measurement. He oversees test campaigns for development, qualification, and production vessels — supporting both internal and external customers.
Mr. Fabian has played a key role in testing Steelhead’s Multi-Element Gaseous Container (MEGC) systems, implementing rigorous proof testing and leak detection protocols to ensure the highest safety standards for customers and end-users.
In 2024, he expanded his responsibilities to include overseeing the company's compliance with global pressure vessel safety and testing standards, including those set by the European Union, Australia, and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Additionally, he secured DOT approval for Steelhead to perform recertification testing of existing pressure vessels for external customers and currently manages the company's Testing Services group.
