Mickey Salva

Mickey Salva is Engineering Manager at Steelhead Composites, where he leads the engineering team in the design and manufacture of high-pressure vessels for applications including SCUBA, compressed natural gas, hydrogen storage, and aerospace systems.

With more than a decade at Steelhead, Mickey’s responsibilities include mechanical design, project management, SolidWorks CAD, engineering-change management, and product development. His work focuses on pressure-vessel designs that balance performance, manufacturability, quality, and customer requirements.

Mickey also supports Steelhead’s ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems and contributes to technical planning for vessel design, qualification, and production programs. He also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
