Andrew Coors

Andrew Coors is the founder and CEO of Steelhead Composites, where he sets the company’s strategic direction and leads its continued growth. Since founding Steelhead in 2012, he has helped develop the company into a global pressure-vessel manufacturer serving hydrogen-storage, aerospace, launch, propulsion, and other high-pressure applications.

Andrew’s contributions at Steelhead include financing and growing the business, supporting manufacturing scale-up, contributing to technical and market white papers, and advising the company’s technology and market strategy. Before Steelhead, he held leadership and analytical roles in private equity, investment strategy, corporate economics, and institutional research, including positions at 9th Street Capital, Qualcomm, and Laffer Associates.

Andrew is a CFA charterholder and holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. His industry recognition includes Cleantech Entrepreneur of the Year, ColoradoBIZ Manufacturer Innovator of the Year, and recognition by Jefferson County as a Superhero of Industry.
